Conducted by Patrick Tierney, a PH.D in Recreation Resources with a concentration in Tourism Marketing, this study also shows that brochures influence travel behavior in over one third of respondents.
Additionally, the influence of a brochure does not end immediately after collection. Over one half of the respondents stated that they were very likely to purchase something or visit a destination shown on a brochure in the next six months.
