Barbara Kenney will serve as the 2010/11 President for the Orlando Skål Club. She was appointed as President at the Club’s annual Installation Dinner that was held at the Hard Rock Hotel in Orlando.
Skål is an international organization that brings together sectors of the travel and tourism industries. Representing the industry’s managers and executives, Skål members meet at local, national and international levels in an environment of friendship to discuss subjects of common interest.
The Orlando Club has 153 members currently and growing. The Club was voted as the 2006/07 International Club of the year. Monthly meetings give the membership an opportunity to meet and to build both personal and professional relationships.
Barbara has been an active member of Skål since 2003. As President, she will lead a 20-person Board of Directors. Her role as President is to conduct all Board meetings and dinner meetings. She will also represent the Club at Congresses both nationally and internationally.
